Before opening her practice in the spring of 2003, interior designer Eden Wright worked for more than a decade with notable high-end residential interior design firms on both the east and west coasts. She graduated with a BS in Environmental and Interior Design from Syracuse University and lived and studied throughout Italy, while completing an intensive classical design program in Florence.

Eden moved from New York City to San Francisco in the winter of 1994 and spent the next six years as an associate and senior designer with Tim Kennedy Design. Tim had previously worked with the legendary Anthony Hail and their combined influence is apparent in Wright's work today. Her father, who was an architect and graphic designer, also inspired her at an early age by introducing her to the work of Phillip Johnson, Joseph Albers and Marcel Breuer.

During the course of her career, Eden has completed projects of all types ranging from modern to traditional. Her love of clean lines and natural materials, combined with her passion for using color and light, show in her serene yet vibrant projects. Mixing old and new is an integral part of the design process for Eden. "We are all old and new: formed from the past and looking toward the future. Our homes are a reflection of the lives we have lived as well as the lives we want to live."

"Each project is created from the vision and needs of the client. Part of my job is to simply listen and understand my client's wishes and ideas in order to create a home that is a reflection of their personality and lifestyle."

Eden thoroughly enjoys the design process from beginning to end: from selecting materials, colors and furnishings to the follow-up, installations and finishing details. "So much of the joy I find in my work comes from the collaboration with clients, architects and craftspeople and the relationships formed from working together."
