Senior Designer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and manage project design and implementation from Schematic Design phase through completion

Execute project objectives and vision guided by Principal Designer and client

Prepare project documents, budget, scope and timeline

Source, quote, create client proposals

Assist Principal Designer in all project related tasks and execution of project goals

Preparation of floor plans, elevations, design presentations, renderings, finish schedules, custom furniture design drawings and specifications

Expedite and follow up on orders at fabricators, artisans and contractors

Manage client communications, coordination, project supervision and site visits

Attend CE and trade related presentations, seminars and industry events on behalf of EWD

SKILLS + QUALIFICATIONS:

Highly organized and detail oriented

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Flexible, positive, can do attitude

Able to manage multiple projects, timelines and deadlines

Works well with a team and independently

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator + Photoshop, Microsoft Office, Studio Webware

Knowledge of:

• Current California Codes and Regulations

• Current interior design practices and standards

Must have car for site meetings, sourcing and vendor visits

EXPERIENCE: 5+ Years experience working for an Interior Design firm on residential projects

EDUCATION: Degree in Interior Design or Architecture

SALARY: Based on Experience
