PART-TIME INTERIOR DESIGNER/PROJECT MANAGER
We are looking for an experienced Interior Designer/Project Manager to join our team. The ideal
candidate will have exceptional organizational, project management and strong AutoCAD skills
and is comfortable juggling multiple projects and enjoys contributing to all aspects of the process
from sourcing, custom furniture fabrication, presentations, materials schedules, through
installation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and manage projects from concept to completion
• Execute objectives and vision guided by Principal Designer for each project
• Source, quote and present schemes for coordination
• Assist in all client-related tasks:
Preparation of mood boards, floor plans, elevations, design presentations, renderings,
finish schedules, custom furniture design, FFE documents, expedite and follow up on
orders at fabricators, artisans and contractors, manage project coordination through all
phases, including schedules, documenting scope, outline, create timeline through
completion
• Review all project and in-house documentation to ensure they meet project and client goals,
requirements and EWD standards
• Work will be a combination of remote and in-person
SKILLS
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Minimum 4-5 year’s experience working with a high-end interiors or architectural firm
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Flexible and easy can-do attitude
• Able to manage multiple projects, timelines and deadlines
• Works well with a team and independently
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Studio Designer, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of:
- Current California Codes and Regulations
- Current interior design practices and standards
